I have had the privilege to know Cathy for 32 years and she has always impressed me with her advocacy and compassion for people living with HIV as well as those who love and care for them. She is a great public speaker and she serves on the permanent faculty of the Positive Living Conference I started in 1997. I have witnessed her in action when she ran camps for families dealing with HIV. I have been blessed to twice to go with her to Tanzania where she is a legend of caring. She not only talks about needs she finds ways to meet them. She is known as Momma Cathy across continents for the services she delivers. She is a life force for many struggling for basic medical care, housing, education and compassion. Angels should have names and Cathy’s name would be Love. ~Nicholas

I met Cathy in 2012 when she came to UCF to speak to our team of medical providers. As a nurse, I felt I had a good knowledge base but Cathy absolutely blew the minds of my colleagues and myself. She is always up to date on the latest and greatest developments. What makes Cathy unique is that she can also speak from her own perspectives and experiences to help her audience not only be better providers and better advocates but also better humans.
